Aissa Dione Tissus

Award-winning designer and national treasure Aissa Dione is a textile artist who applies her talents as a painter and plastics technician to ancestral Mandjaque weaving. Her skillful reworking of their traditional colours, motifs and designs give her woven creations in cotton and raffia a bright, opulent nobility that has led to projects with such designers as Jacques Grange, Peter Marino and Christian Liaigre.
